Blachford Acoustics Group NA Announces New President, Sales Director

Blachford Acoustics Group, North America, is excited to announce its new President & C.O.O, Matthew Taub and its new Sales Director, Mike Pellegrini.  Both Taub and Pellegrini have a strong history with Blachford in the Sales department and have rejoined the company in executive roles.  These changes at the executive level are part of a new strategic initiative headed by owner & Chief Executive Officer, John Blachford.  Taub will report direct to John Blachford with Pellegrini reporting to Taub.

As President, Taub will oversee operations for Blachford Acoustics’ business units in West Chicago, Illinois (Blachford Inc.) and Kings Mountain, North Carolina (Blachford RP Corp.) in the US as well as the Cambridge (Blachford AM Ltd.) and Mississauga, Ontario (H.L. Blachford Ltd.) in Canada.  H.L. Blachford Ltd., the parent company of Blachford, will be celebrating its 100 year anniversary in 2021.  Taub intends to focus the company’s strategic plans around The Blachford Acoustics Laboratory to provide custom tailored solutions and stronger support for customers throughout the entire cab and engine compartment.  Mr. Taub holds a MBA from the University of Wisconsin Madison and has most recently held executive positions in the metal fabrication, packaging and parking industries prior to rejoining Blachford.

In a letter to employees regarding the change at President, John Blachford had the following to say: “I am very confident that Matt will do an excellent job for us, which will result in a big increase in sales and profits. He will do this while greatly improving morale, and maintaining high standards of health and safety, and protection of the environment.”

Pellegrini will head all sales and customer service activity for the Blachford Acoustics Group business units in the United States and Canada.  Mr. Pellegrini holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Southern Illinois University and rejoins the company after working with various Blachford suppliers in the Industrial, Non-Automotive industry in recent years.

Regarding the hire of Mr. Pellegrini, Taub said: “Mike’s experience both at Blachford and with our suppliers should prove valuable for the entire organization. He has a history of selling large profitable projects and has a great deal of knowledge about not only our products but the raw materials they are made from. I am confident that through his mentorship our sales team will return to leveraging all the strengths Blachford Acoustics Group possesses, especially the Blachford Acoustics Lab.”
