Two Acoustics Plants Awarded Caterpillar Certifications
Blachford Acoustics Group is proud to announce that two of our plants, Blachford Inc. (West Chicago, IL) and Blachford AM Ltd. (Cambridge, ON) have been awarded certifications through Caterpillar’s SQEP Program. The Caterpillar (SQEP) Supplier Quality Excellence Process requirements take into account work performed by almost every department in the company and help Caterpillar determine a supplier level from Bronze all the way up to Platinum.
Blachford AM has been awarded Caterpillar Gold for the 2nd year in a row after becoming eligible for the award for the first time last year. Meanwhile, Blachford Inc. has been awarded Caterpillar Silver, marking the 10th time the West Chicago plant has been certified by Caterpillar in the last 11 years.
Formal presentations are set to take place in the coming weeks at the respective plants with representatives from Caterpillar in attendance to present the award.
Blachford’s working partnership with Caterpillar began in 1973 and continues to expand and grow with parts shipping to over 20 Caterpillar locations worldwide from three different Blachford Acoustics Group plants.
