TMAT Rebrands to Blachford UK Ltd.

As of February 1st, 2017, TMAT will operate under the banner of Blachford Acoustics Group, with the new name of Blachford UK Ltd.

TMAT, as it was known, will continue to operate as it has done from its facility in Chesterfield and will be led by the same leadership team, headed up by Jason Lippitt. Existing customers and suppliers will continue to deal with the same people in the same way they have done previously.

The brand change reflects the acquisition of TMAT by Blachford in 2014. Blachford Acoustics Group serves to represent the businesses under its brand umbrella that supply acoustical and thermal materials, molded headliners and trim, and floor mats and floor systems.

Jason Lippitt, who will continue as the Managing Director of Blachford UK Ltd, the UK arm of Blachford Acoustics Group, said: “It really is business as usual, and our customers and suppliers will continue to deal with the same people in the same way, thereby benefiting from the levels of service that have always helped this business stand apart from any competitors”.

Blachford UK Ltd. is a major supplier of polyurethane floor mats, headliners, and trims for many OEM’s across Europe producing agricultural and construction equipment, high performance and specialist vehicles, as well as supplying acoustic material solutions for a variety of industrial applications. The acquisition of the business has allowed Blachford to provide common, coordinated solutions in both North America and Europe.

The purchase has also meant that no other company in the world operating in the off-highway sector has the focus and resources Blachford Acoustics Group now has at its disposal. The Blachford Acoustics Laboratory and Technical Center is a world-class facility featuring a large hemi-anechoic chamber equipped with a heavy-duty dynamometer, a reverberation room and a transmission loss suite.
