Formulated to reduce vibration of thin materials and improve the sound quality of fabricated metal cabinets, appliances, stainless steel sinks, ventilation ducting, computer printers, and various other applications, Antivibe™ DLX from Blachford Acoustics is a fast-drying water-based damping liquid that can be applied with high pressure airless spray or robotic application systems.

Typical Applications:

  • Antivibe DL-X1 damping liquid is used to reduce vibration of thin materials and improve the sound quality for various types of equipment:

    • Transit, agricultural, and off-road vehicles

    • Fabricated metal cabinets, appliances, stainless steel sinks

    • Ventilation ducting, computer printers

  • Available in 55-gallon drums as well as 1 and 5-gallon pails for smaller applications.

Application Requirements

  • For Application on Aluminum, Stainless, Steel, E Coated and painted surfaces
    • High solids content is designed to resist slumping when spraying onto vertical metal surfaces
  • Paintability
  • Operating temperature between – 20 to 120 C
  • Outdoor use
  • Sprayable (with high-pressure spray system 1500-3000psi)
