EVA Polymer

Effective as a mid-frequency range barrier, Barymat™ EVA from Blachford Acoustics provides superior noise reduction as an under-floor treatment, duct wrap, or part of a composite. Used in buildings, vehicles and appliances, this EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate) barrier is available with an assortment of facings and pressure sensitive adhesives.

Typical Applications:

  • Barymat EVA 1 is particularly effective as a barrier in the mid-frequency range and is suitable as an under-floor treatment, duct wrap, or as part of a composite.

  • Typical applications would include commercial, off-highway, and utility vehicles as well as architectural and appliance applications.

  • 1.0 lb/ft2 has a STC of 27 and 2.0 lb/ft2 has an STC of 32.

  • Note: This product does not comply with NFPA Class A (or Class 1).
