Designed to withstand temperatures up 120 degrees Celsius, this open cell melamine foam product is perfect for engine compartments and other places where long-term heat resistance is required. Available in several foam thicknesses with reinforced or micro perforated foil facings.

Typical Applications:

  • Conasorb M is an ideal sound absorber where exceptional heat resistance and low smoke and flammability values are required.
  • Conasorb M passes Docket 90 requirements which include very low flame spread and smoke development values per ASTM E162 and E662.
  • Conasorb M passes ASTM E84 and UL 723 maximum flame spread index of 25 and maximum smoke developed index of 50 (25/50 rating).
  • Conasorb M is very well suited for engine compartments where long term heat resistance to 360°F is necessary.
  • Various foam thicknesses are available.
