For the 2nd year in a row, Blachford Inc. has been named a recipient of the PACCAR 10PPM Quality Award. The award is presented to PACCAR suppliers that maintained a quality score of 10 PPM (parts per million) or lower in 2017. This award is presented to about 300 companies that are part of PACCAR’s supply base. International Noise Awareness Day 2018
Today, April 25th, is International Noise Awareness Day (INAD). Today marks the 23rd Anniversary of the inaugural celebration in 1996 by the Center for Hearing and Communication (CHC). Each year it is celebrated on the last Wednesday in April to raise awareness of the ways noise affects people worldwide. Blachford AM Ltd. Achieves Caterpillar Gold Certification
Blachford Acoustics Group’s relationship with Caterpillar began over 40 years ago at the West Chicago location, Blachford Inc. and has since expanded to Blachford AM Ltd. (Canada) and Blachford UK Ltd (United Kingdom). During the first year as an eligible supplier, Blachford AM Ltd. was awarded Caterpillar Gold certification. A formal presentation took place on Tuesday, April 9th at the facility in Cambridge, Ontario and Caterpillar’s Supplier Development Engineer, Rich Gerberding was on hand to present the award.
